Where do the jobs go once the pipeline is built? Nothing involving the oil industry is sustainable!! It's destructive and a limited resource.
The Earth is going to run out of oil in about 50 years depending on our growth and economies. We must start looking to other sources of energy that are more in line with the Earth and it's natural ways of creating power. Sources like geothermal, wave-energy and solar are not only better for the planet, but more sustainable over the long haul. With our population tally over 7 billion, we have huge issues to deal with as China and India become wealthier and more consumer driven. We can't make the Earth bigger or ask it to produce more oil, so we have to break out of our oil programming and start thinking outside of the box here. I bet we can create jobs doing other things besides building pipelines for an energy source that is past it's peak and now on a steady decline.
no we dont want jobs that this pipeline will bring we want to sit on our ass' and get checks from the goverment
the keystone pipeline would have provided thousands of jobs. 0bama said no to it.
