we should have a dress code!! Dressing as well and conservatively as possible will really help us not to have the oppostition blur the issues. We are out of jobs, but as we occupy we should dress as if we are going to a job interview. as foolish as this is, we will all be taken more seriously and our message rather than our appearance will be the issue. Its a lot more powerful if we see cops brutalizing men and woman in business attire rather than hippy garbs and bongo drums. No one cares about the latter. Currently the appearance makes us look crazy and not to be taken seriously. Please please please consider this on a global scale. No one should be shirtless with rediculous hair and wigs. It makes us look like a joke.

i do believe seeing someone wearing a suit, being brutalized by the police would be a powerful image in the media. hell, seeing someone simply protesting, wearing a suit shows diversity... i don't think there should be a "dress code" per se, but definitely a tactic which should be explored.

This could be a useful tactic, but you cannot expect everyone to do it. It would be a sad capitulation if everyone decided to dress conservatively from fear of misunderstanding or attack. but go ahead and organize some people to form your affinity group, just remember it is the content which counts.

It has become a joke. Wish it hadn't.
