Why do i have to pay so much taxes after working 2 jobs and having to pay my students loans While the 1% don't pay anything. IS NOT FAIR. OCCUPY INJUSTICE! OCCUPY GREED. NO MORE PAYING TAXES UNTIL THE 1% PAY THEIR SHARE.

By the way i am taking about the superbillionaires not the hardworking people who become rich. People who own over 100 million dollars.

the 99% pay more in taxes than the 1% (the super rich). We deserve better! Until they fix it. NO MORE!

I see no reason for me 99% to keep paying taxes. What for so Mr. Goldman Sach can get another trillion on bailout money so i later have to repay again. WTF. Or so cops can spray me with pepper spray for peaceful protest while the Thieves in Government and Congress keep stealing our jobs. Hell NO!!! OCCUPY THE IRS!! IS THE ONLY WAY THEY WILL UNDERSTAND. MONEY IS THE ONLY LANGUAGE THEY UNDERSTAND.

The 1% are not creating jobs. The profits at large corporations are rising. Their stock values are rising. However, the employment rate is not rising. The large corporations are taking the bailout money and sitting on it. They are not creating jobs. A majority of our economy is dependent on consumer spending (i.e. the 99% spending their money). The problem is, the 99% doesn't have any money to spend. The 1% are hoarding all the money, waiting for the economy to get better. That is where the government needs to step in. They need to use taxes to incentivize the 1% to hire the 99%, so that the 99% have money to spend.

good point, but i believe that by increasing the tax rates for the 1%, they would mitigate the loss by cutting jobs

The 1% create jobs. More taxes = less money for employees, thus forcing layoffs

How does anybody know what the rich pay. I first heard Obama say the 1% thing. Then Union involvment. I believe you whole movement is an example of where America's tax money went, in Obama's first Stimulus. I know a large amount of money went to Unions. I believe now that OWS os or will sooner or latter get paid the rest of our money.

I'm a 1%

I pay taxes.

I pay a lot of taxes, not as much as I should to the proportion of my income.

Want to change that? Vote out your congressman and vote in one that want higher taxes for the 1%.

It's really simple.

How about some solidarity in NOT PAYING TAXES. They go to nothing good: wars of imperialism, a school system designed to make the youth stupid, compliant, and angry, cops who will engage in police brutality...This "the 1% needs to pay higher taxes" energy is aligned with "Misery loves company." How bout we just don't pay taxes, which will starve the system, and then we can watch the misleaders vacate their offices as no income will be coming in (except the lobby funds actually, which is enough to keep them around running amok, on 2nd thought)

What percentage of their income should be taken in taxes? But first, how much do you have to earn to be considered part of the 1%?

I talk about the super rich people like 100 million up. Those who act above the law. I also dont want to burden small or middle size business that are working hard to keep America running. :)
