Republicans have no interest in developing policies that will help more people to gain more support. They simply intend to control who gets to vote. Here’s more evidence about another group they don’t like:
Indiana Republicans oppose student voting
North Carolina Republicans oppose student voting
More Republicans doing what they do best- focus on nonsense while the city burns. Wonderful.
That being said, the main problem students have when trying to vote in a different state is the registration process, many dont realize they have to re register and hence get turned away
In NC you don't have to be from out of state but if you want to vote near your school your parents are going to have to pay higher taxes.
Well Santorum did lay out the repubblican position that college is for snobs.
Mainly repubs know that to win they must keep as many people as stupid as possible.

More and more the rich SOBs that the GOP represents feel that everyone not Born Rich are just needy lazy bastards with their hands out. How long will they continue to let these peasants have a say in policy?
Oh sure. Haven't you heard them say how, deserved, clever, even magical, their success is? It has nothing to do with the rigging of the system in their favor and the ease of creating corp profits when you outsource jobs, and squeeze workers by stagnating wages, cutting benefits.
In theend the corp tax giveaways, subsidies, welfare, deductions that allow huge corps to pay 0 taxes amounts to the biggest sponging of the taxpayer.
THE RICH are the takers! We need only to look at who got away with the loot to see the reality.
Selfish, greedy, bastards
You may have seen this but the link above is to the complete HBO special that was made by one of the Johnson family heirs, if you haven't seen it very worth while.
