Forum Post: don't be lulled into complacency or coopted by DNC or union bureaucrats

The DNC is just like the RNC - bought-and-paid-for. The union bureaucracies regularly launder dues money to the DNC that they assure their members goes for local nonpartisan elections (which they exchange dollar-for-dollar with dues money which can legally be expended for such purpose). This money is then handed over to the DNC with a handshake and without the knowledge of their members or even a democratic vote - and I'm pro-union....just not for corrupt ones or those that are dominated by political parties and without internal democracy, let alone dominated by employers... Would like to see more real union democracy and real representation instead of sweetheart deals that sell workers down the river...

A union democracy advocate in LA in an SEIU local reported years ago that when he complained of an unfair election that he was threatened and pistol-whipped by goons who he had reason to believe were targeting him at the behest of the union 'leadership.'

And when union locals refuse bad contracts, top union bureaucrats put the entire local in receivership and sell them all down the river by forcing a bad contract down their throats - which, if they had good lawyers on their side, would be able to prove that the labor contracts are coerced and thus null and void.

Bad union leaders are like bad cops - they're only good for swinging by with a box of a donuts (a dozen donuts for 2 dozen union members usually) and slapping the backs of union members with slogans of "solidarity" but who sit silently and refuse to file grievances when bosses actually boast openly of retaliation for using union representation, adding that they "know how far to go" because they used to be the grievance chair!

correction: they launder voluntarily-contributed political funds which they tell members goes for local nonpartisan elections, but which is exchanged with dues money dollar-for-dollar with the voluntarily-contributed funds, which then find their way into the DNC coffers - and with no return promise or consideration to the members whose funds were contributed.

The co-opting is already happening in the media. I bet its already happening in the streets slowly. It won't take long for that big money to start buying people off here and there.

It's not money that buys souls in this case - it's the illusory impression that somehow the message is being taken seriously, when in fact the purpose is to absorb and incorporate into the establishment.
