Forum Post: Don't be fooled by the flat tax

I had a boss one time that was actually scored at genius level. He made in excess of 60K a year and tried getting everybody to vote for a 10% flat tax. He was worth a few million and payed close to 20%. I made 25K gross a year and had around 7.5% payed by federal. The flat tax decreases the amount the upper class pays and increases what the poverty ridden pay. So don't be fooled when they say a flat tax is better.
