Forum Post: Don't be afraid to get (non-violently) arrested! Here's why.

When you get arrested,tell them "yes,I would like to go to trial." It clogs up their system and it makes arresting you cost more than its worth and it'll curb arrests in the long run. Want to fuck with the cops? Let them arrest you! Also, this is obviously implying that you don't be violent or resist arrest while you get arrested. This tactic has and is being used in movements everywhere. Just ask the canadians that got arrested during the g8/g20 summits. This way, their system is clogged because of all of the paperwork and man hours that they are forced to put in. This is how you get back at them for arresting you guys. Joining your local ACLU chapter and lawyering up doesn't hurt either. Most criminal defense lawyers might even do this pro-bono.

Also, brush up on your miranda warning and your rights that you are entitled to during, and after you are arrested. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO BE ARRESTED FOR YOUR CAUSE! Just don't be violent and don't resist!
