Sergei Aleynikov allegedly stole computer code from Goldman when he left the company a few years ago. The U.S. Justice Department saw fit to prosecute Sergei Aleynikov for a second time, even though the Court of Appeals threw out the first conviction. Apparently, it's O.K. for Goldman to steal from honest investors, but it is not O.K. for anyone to steal from Goldman. That tells you all you need to know.
