Our opponents are the small and viscious oligarchy, representing a persentage of America's wealthiest class, and their functionairies. They are not - Jews - Other Minorities - The Hollywood elite - The French - Businessmen - The Homeless - The Upper Middle Class - Southerners - Hippies - Christians - Athiests - Intellectuals - The Uneducated - Unions - Mexicans, or "Lazy" College Students!
The demonizing of all these groups and more is a tactic designed to confuse people, divert them from the real source of their anger, and to instill fear. Recognise that EVERY post denegrating any of these groups, and others, is merely a tactic to divide us. Focus on the real adversery; we know who they are, and upon practical methods of thrusting them from power and bringing them to justice!
Communist Party, Socialist Party, moveon.org and many other totalitarian solution groups who came out in support of OWS are ALL endorsing Obama for the next election. Think about it. Obama, who bailed out the banks!!!!!Whose financial adviser is Ben Bernanke, the boss of the Federal Reserve. All wings of the same bird my friends, flying in the same direction...Impeach Obama! restore the Constitution!
We simply need to recognize the difference between reasoned debate over valid disagreements, with the intention of coming to consensus, or at least concerted action, and hate-speech that performs no other function than spreading fear and division.
Ok lets talk....I'm happy to concede if proven wrong through reasonable discourse. Prove to me that whatever I've said above is wrong and I will be graceful in my defeat. To be critical is not the same as spreading fear and division. SOmeone on this site once said we needed to debate. So lets debate the issues I've raised, lets clear the air, reach a consensus and move on. Agreed?
Great! I don't really see it as a matter of being right or wrong, but as a matter that is unfortunately, to a great degree, subjective. There are people here who offer constructive criticism, and reasoned dissent, both of which I feel are valuable and necessary. But fingerpointing, steriotyping (sp) groups, without making allowance for individual diversity, and villifying those who could and should be our natural allies in this cause without overwealming justification seems counterproductive. So I guess my view is that it is all about a matter of respect. Disrespectful invective I think should be automatically disregarded as damaging to this effort.
In other words, stick your fingers in your ears and go nyahh nyahh I can't hear you? Does it not occur to you, that someone like me, who spent 5 weeks in an occupy camp and left because it was getting too violent, might have some experienced viewpoints worth listening to?
Viewpoints regarding what?
No reply, I guess Ramous doesn't really have any viewpoints concerning this issue that he would be willing to reveal publically.
