Can you provide us who are not there with some particulars. How many people are actually occupying (do you have a count?). How many people do you estimate sleep over-night? How many people are there on any given day (average during week versus week-end). How big a space is the park? How many tents? Does anybody have these particulars.
The park is one small city block in size. WIkipedia says it is 33,000 sq ft.
Here's a picture of it empty: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:WTM_tony_0128.jpg
I hear that between 200 and 400 people sleep out every night.
I've heard there've been around 1500 there on some days, depending who comes to speak.
I'm not an official spokesperson, the numbers of people are just numbers I've gleaned from reading. I've been to the park a few times since OWS started but never slept there.
Excellent/ Thanks. Thought that these numbers would be of some help in giving a better idea of things. Most of the video includes some many visitors and is so chaotic. I imagine there is a documentary being made on this already.
