You know the rich, no, not the ones driving 06 kias and used clunkers.. I'm talking about the lexus, cadilacs, BMWs, the shiny things. There's some auto mechanic out there making min wage to fix vehicles and needs more work. There's some car salesman who can't sell a new vehicle.
If you smash and destroy a rich person's car, they will either buy a new one or pay to fix it.
Think of it as job security. Imagine the cost to replace a windshield in a ferrari? After all, what do you have to loose. You are already looking at being peppersprayed and arrested for protesting, probably facing jail time already just being at OWS. if you going down, go down big.
Wow. That's just abhorrent.
What will we advocate next - arson on a grand scale? Theft?
Get out of here.
Stop this. This is a really stupid thread.
there aren't any jobs because their isn't anything that needs to be done that will turn a profit
So since I drive a BMW, I should be punished for the sake of keeping a minimum wage job out there?...lol. You're a few short of a load.
This is either a troll (90% chance) or a serious moran.
But what if youre part of the 99% and now live in the BMW you financed? Plz don't break my car!
there is no such thing as a "minimum wage" mechanic
tie minimum wage to the inflation index of food and housing
Hmm... If we drop a bomb on a foreign country and blow up a city, we can then all get the contracts to rebuild the city... Stupid... Stupid... Stupid.
Yeah, very stupid, unless you are Dick Cheney, own Halliburton, and get nobid govt contracts.
Yeah and your the one selling and manufacturing the bombs, like the US taxpayer... :)
The us taxpayer sells and manufactures the bombs? Damn, so how long do I have to wait for my dividend check to arrive?
Where do you think your taxes go? How do you think government buys them? Or is this sarcasm, and I just missed it? :)
Yeah, If we are selling them, where is our money? When are we going to quit griping about the little shit, wake up and say more government isn't the answer, but transparent and accountable government should be our goal. The US citizen has been robbed time and again by the "2 BIG 2 FAIL" businesses and the laws they pay our "PUBLIC SERVANTS" to pass. We should be demanding that the money is tracked down and those accepting bribes, committing fraud, and hurting the 99% be punished for their crimes.
I agree. I assume you think OccupyDC is much more fruitful than OccupyWallStreet?
idk, I think the American people would get more worked up if Jersey Shore were cancelled, than that of us being ripped off trillions of dollars and it handed over to big banks.
I am worried though, I saw a report in Sept that 14x the normal number of put options on the S&P 500 for Oct. Who knew that OWS was going to take place? Who set it up? Is OWS really demanding a global govt? Who is leading OWS and do they do so in secret? Why would anyone want global democracy if we can't even keep our local, state and especially federal govt in check?
Good points. I have been having thevsame fears. Like it all seems too organized, from Tunsa, to Egypt, to Libya, to Greece, to Wall Street. I deffinetly think there is something foulbafoot. I guess my only wish is that it backfires. But I went down to the OccupKC site, and it seemed to e it was just a bunch of hippies upset they could not set up tents. ( there was about 30 people or so). The fact is if mainstream America doesn't care, this movement is fucked. Also, as long as thebpolice and military are willing to obey government, we have no chance. And the lack of real solutions bothers me. And I don't want global government. Shoot, I would be willing to dispose the federal government and mae each state a State again. Then we might have more say over our community's future
Germany has been utilizing this approach with great success.
of course.. . most of the millionaires next door are driving mid-2000 Toyotas! :) people with Ferrari's are generally actually more broke than the average..
