Forum Post: Demands are made by those who lack the power to make decisions for themselves.

Those who have power tend to use it for their own self-interests; to increase their own wealth and power. Thus, we have an increasing gap between the 1% and the 99%. This is self-evident.

Perhaps this movement could best occupy itself at this time by building a vision of an alternative structure of power, and then by working to realize this vision.

As part of this vision, I see myself standing in solidarity with the 99% of the seven billion citizens of planet Earth, not just of the 312 million citizens of the United States of Amerigo Vespucci.
