It seems to me that the center of this movement is an opposition to the unfair influence the wealthy have on our government, and the policies that result from this influence. Personally, I believe that if money did not sway politics we would have a working heath care system, or decent regulation- we would have green energy- we would have less joblessness- we would have well funded education- we would have social justice- we would have proper regulation and oversight of wall street.
Whatever the details, I think everyone agrees that those with money have undue influence over our government and that that influence is a big problem with our government.
We the people can demand a real end to corporate influence in our politics. We should demand this, and here his how i think we should.
Congress should pass a bill to create a permanent office like the Congressional Budget Office, which is impartial, nonpartisan and fair. Its job: to track all influential behavior towards our elected officials. To prosecute any illegal activity and to report to the people all behavior influencing those people we elected to represent us.
This movement is looking for something solid to advocate for. I think this may be it. Bless all of you, and God Bless America.
