excerpt: A WHISTLEBLOWER'S ACCOUNT

Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, former Senior Policy Advisor in the U.S. Department of Education, blew the whistle in the `80s on government activities withheld from the public. Her inside knowledge will help you protect your children from controversial methods and programs. In this book you will discover:

-how good teachers across America have been forced to use controversial, non-academic...

-how "school choice" is being used to further dangerous reform goals, and how home schooling and private education are especially vulnerable.

-how workforce training (school-to-work) is an essential part of an overall plan for a global economy, and how this plan will shortcircuit your child's future career plans and opportunities.

-how the international, national, regional, state and local agendas for education reform are all interconnected and have been for decades.

I agree. And I'm worried that the Department of Education is culpable in dumbing us down. Why should we have to have a staff of Federal Workers regulating state education anyway. In this day with the internet everyone will know if a state like Mississippi, Missouri, or Illinois has a failing education system - and they will adjust their lives or adopt a strategy for how it affects them.

There is a book, "Lies My Teacher Told Me", copyright 1995, updated post 9/11.

The Author is James W. Loewen. Quote below is from website for after market cliff notes. The point is Capitalism, Free Enterprise, and other influences like patriotism or nationalism have failed in Textbooks for US Grades 1-12 Education.

Chapter 11, Summary and Analysis

"Why is History Taught Like This?" sums up why textbooks are filled with irrelevancies and errors and avoid anything that might help students understand present or future concerns. Only the two inquiry textbooks include footnotes, while six narratives books even lack a bibliography. Clones are issued yearly with new authors named, but little or no change in content.

Textbooks publishers appeal to students, historians, education professors, and teachers, but chiefly to the interest groups and the public whose ire they seek to avoid. In 1925, the American Legion says ideal textbooks must inspire patriotism and optimism, and give equal space to each state and region. This remains the rule, despite Engle and Ochoa's 1986 call rather for selective, in-depth presentations, drawn from across the social sciences, humanities, and the students' own experience, confronting them with important questions not readily answered.

if we dont involve people who actually work in our society in the movement of goods and services, in the development of our children's curriculum, the government bums called teachers, Principles, and educational developers will just continue teaching ignorance and brainwashing of our children.

There's another aspect of the dumbing down that exists in our media. At one time, publications for profit focused on an appeal to the intelligentsia. And then along came the printing press and with it a desire to appeal to the masses and profit by volume. There was a very definite and intentional effort to dumb down and sensationalize in an attempt to appeal to the less intellectual masses. Thoughts on this are well documented... and our newspapers and television programming are their descendants,

Wow, you raise excellent points. I hadn't quite made that point of clarity but you are exactly correct. From its inception the printing press stuff for the masses was to be largely kept and intended for the masses. The higher knowledge/esoteric knowledge was to remain that way. Thanks for your contribution :)

[-] 1 points by betuadollar (-313) 13 years ago

Yea, do your history. It's something that was actually discussed and documented. A definite intentional effort...

I don't doubt it. The results today speak for themselves. Propaganda and disinformation rules the media that is fed to the masses.

Well, the thing is, improvements in education and publication have had somewhat of a leveling effect. Even so, if I am truly interested in a world view I leave the ethnocentric American newspapers behind.

[-] 1 points by info101 (49) 13 years ago

You will have to leave more than the American papers behind. It encompasses the world as it is global socialism.

[-] 0 points by betuadollar (-313) 13 years ago

You worry too much; it can't happen. You want to know why? You and I. There is a human element that demands a rather specific identity, and for us, that means American. The same can be said of every cultural state in the world. Because the state represents the maximum defensible position of those possessed of a specific identity. All of us would rather fight than switch, and we will. We can expand on this but it's enough...

[-] 1 points by info101 (49) 13 years ago

You have great points and I heed them; however, you don't know my whole position as it is too early in our discussions. I don't believe the darkness wins. It loses. The awakening globally is the movement against the darkness, and it is only beginning. Blood will be shed and people will die for it.

Well then you and I will be at war. No biggie...

[-] 1 points by info101 (49) 13 years ago

Perhaps, we'll see. The media seems to not really "get it" that this isn't just a small phase. It will only grow. It will affect the 2012 elections.

Geez, I hope so.

[-] 1 points by info101 (49) 13 years ago

Yeah this is going to get very interesting. It will ramp if /when the Fed raises interest rates.

DISTURBING info on the video.

SICK enablers destroying society.

Its like the government wants to encourage anarchy in society by breaking down the family unit, values and morals.

Ron P A U L has proposed closing the federal Dept of education.

What can I say but he's right

--- edit ---

WTF - she actually says New World Order ?!

The sensitivity training sounds like scientology mumbojumbo

[-] 1 points by info101 (49) 13 years ago

+1000 yes you see it; there are tons more vids w/her and she has a giant book on it.... check them out. The info on the "change agents" is particularly nauseating.

Trying hard not to draw parallels to the movie the matrix but people have to wake the fuck up.

This type of information is 'in plain sight' more often than not

Yet people can't grasp the enormity of their own manipulation.

'Breaking someone down' and looking for weaknesses to exploit, is exactly how ex scientology member's describe their 'training' / indoctrination

-- edit --

These videos that reveal hidden agendas should be on a must watch list

The other poster here is spot on when people say they feel something is just not right.

They need a fast track information update

Because they are vulnerable to demanding 'more of the same' from those in control without even knowing what they're doing.

[-] 1 points by info101 (49) 13 years ago

They made "The Matrix" exactly based upon this. The parallel is literal and welcomed and correct. There is both good and evil operating within the Hollywood cult establishment.

FYI, so-called "Scientology" (which was infiltrated and co-opted from its original intent) is literally the IRS.

[-] 2 points by reddy2 (256) 13 years ago

The fact that scientology is still in existence smacks of government involvement.

There must be thousands of people who have revealed what it's really about.

Yet it operates as a 'church'?

It's almost the absolute insult for those who have faith in a higher power

There are definitely mind control and brainwashing techniques developed within scientology

No question about it - there are just too many whistle-blowers to ignore

I think there are lots of people who would watch this video and actually not bring themselves to believe it. Certainly not be able to comprehend how devastating and wide reaching the effects are.

The information on the video reaffirms many thoughts I have about how parents barely raise their children these days and how the state trains children from the earliest age to conform and become obedient taxpayers.

Thanks for posting it.

[-] 1 points by info101 (49) 13 years ago

Yes you see it. Exactly. Many people simply do not (yet) really fully grasp the depth and the hugeness of the structuring of the deception. It is, after all, a form of mind control en masse. To most it is simply unbelievable.

To add, as so-called "Scientology" is owned and controlled by the IRS, it is officially a "US govt" sanctioned state religion. Literally, wherever you see a Scientology office or building it is an IRS branch office disguised as a progressive "church."
