Can we please stop calling this a democratic movement? If you wish to maintain the belief that this is just a movement by democrats and liberals then you are no better than the Tea Party you so often criticize. If you keep trying to separate yourselves from the other half of this country, you will undoubtedly succeed and in turn make it harder for any common ground to be found.
For as much as you wish it, the conservatives will not go away. Just as no matter how badly they want it, liberals will not go away. However there are many many things that the two sides can agree upon. The extremists on both sides will continue to try to rip this country at the seam. But it is important to remember that these extremists do not represent the majority of their party. There is a majority of Republicans that think Bill O’Riley is a moron, a lot of Tea Partiers that feel Glen Beck is an idiot and a hypocrite.
Liberals and Democrats, I beg this of you. Rise above. It will take one side to abandon their “labels” and seek truth before the other will. If they begin to see that instead of being alienated they are welcomed, republicans and tea partiers will gladly join your cause. For what we should all be fighting for here is Truth, Justice and Liberty. What Patriot can claim that they do not want this?
Please, Rise Above. Spread Love and Acceptance. Seek the common ground and we will all win.
The oligarchy is trying to label this movement as a far left liberal democrat movement to turn off the tea party and republicans. To Divide the people and maintain control. Most us agree that there is a big problem with are economy and governance. Many people will not except that they have been lied to their whole life. They can't believe there is no difference between republicans and democrats. More people will start to wake up to the manipulation by the institution.
I agree. And good point. Those in 'control' want this to be labeled a leftest movement to keep us from uniting. Once we unite we can not be stopped, they know it and they are afraid of us. We must keep pushing to make this about the needs of every American, not just the ridiculous agendas of extremists.
Ya allot easier said or typed then done
No doubt. If this works and things do get changed, it will be an up-hill battle all the way. I am curious to see how Oct 15th event will change things, if at all. It will be hard to label a world wide event a leftest movement.
All we can do is try ... I guess ...
Fuck the Democrats, I may for the first time ever vote third party in 2012.
