When I told my boss I needed several weeks off to protest his greedy corporation (which I recently discovered also patronizes wall street) he told me not to bother coming back. My wife was not happy - anybody else with a job here experience this utter b.s.?
Hi, I joined the #spanisrevolution last lay 15th. I put in risk my marriage, my in-laws seldom talk to me. My mother tries all the time to convince me to leave this. My household left unattended for weeks. But you know what I AM HAPPY! have never been happier! 'cause fir the first time in my life I feel like I am doing what I want and I found my purpose in life!
I think that Forrest Gump said it best... But yea, you go piss into the wind, but don't bitch later whem you smell like a portapotty!
I am a minor and I haven't told my parents yet. I don't think they'll be happy when I tell them I'm going to be in NYC for the weekend...
easy do not tell them, sneak out! and avoid communicating with them for the duration. Your parents probably work and but stuff for you and hence represent all that is evil about capitalism.
This is an extremely childish view.
Im a minor too but I live in the City, I have no intention of telling my Mom but my dad is very active in the movement, even designing an online Democracy and plan of implementation that is picking up alot of Speed.
Never tell your enemy the battle plan!
I feel your pain, but actually my BF and I are both unemployeed. So, pretty easy for us :)
oh sorry about that
