Forum Post: Darkness Grows

If the successes of Capitalism and failures of Socialism oft repeated in the USA are not simply propaganda inspired delusions, we still must talk about the concentration of wealth and decline of the middle class in the past 50 years. The contented classes of the top 10% got theirs but the rest of US are either treading water or going under. Hedge funds are bidding up home prices and buying up residences at an accelerating pace that is making rents unaffordable for more and more each day. And that's just the most obvious failure of American Capitalism. The FIRE Sector, Medical and Pharmaceutical Corps and the rest of the greed fueled Corporatist [read Fascist] nightmare has darkened the America I grew up in.
