Forum Post: Corporations have taken the first shot across the bow! S.O.S from Australia!

On the 29th October 2011, Qantas Australia in response to unresolved negotiations with unions has issued a lock out, effectively grounding 108 aircrafts in 22 airports around the world, disrupting the lives of 80,000 passengers and depriving the 99% of Australians access to an essential service. I call for the Australian government to confiscate all Qantas’s property in the interest of the 99%, and immediately temporarily hire all Qantas’s affected staff members and get the planes in the sky. Alan Joyce has thrown the hammer, it is now time to smash against the anvil that is Australia. We are an interconnected nation; we recognise the rights of the people over the rights of a co-operations insatiable appetite for profits. Please note Alan Joyce was given a 71% pay rise. His militant action against the Australian people must be protested. Please spread the word. The 99% in Australia are on the front line.
