They are not formed to hire workers and lavish them with high wages, benefits, and pensions. If a corporation can produce cheaper abroad, they should. There is no problem with that. If you don't like it, don't buy that corporations products.

We all are free to chose. A corporation's executives, as long as they obey the law, can chose to hire whomever and operate wherever they want. Tired of listening to people complain about jobs going overseas. Unless you are willing to pay up for tvs , dvrs , and your beloved apple products which are made in china, then stop complaining.

See, the thing is, unions were the ones that caused all the manufacturing to go overseas. Exorbitant union wages caused the corporations to almost go completely broke, and so they had to move all manufacturing to China. You just can't make a profit without paying your workers a dollar per day.

Thats what caused the great financial crash of the 50s. Unionized American workers with their good pay and 5 day, 8 hour workdays.

Why, it sickens me that simple labourers could make enough money at one time to support a family and live comfortably. I say, you should be damn well happy with your minimum wage job at Wal Mart, and if they tell you to work off the clock without compensation, you should be thankful for the opportunity!

Now lick my shoe, plebians!

I'm willing to pay up...I can't condone the exploitation of other people so I can get a cheap piece of shit from China...Where the fuck is your morality monkeyboy?

'As long as they obey the law"..They write the fucking law!

Look, obviously you don't give a fuck about this country called America or the people in it..

You're right if we could only fuck the Americans the way the Chinese are getting fucked that would cure this countries ills..I've got a plan for you monkeyboy..how's this..

I have just made you a poor person instead of the elite asshole you pretend to be..You as a sophisticated investor, bought some of those cool derivatives products I sold you that somehow went bad and you lost everything.

I have a new job opportunity for you..You''ll get room and board on me for the rest of your life if you come work in my factory..Whadya say? No there is no pay..I'm letting you live for free and I'm giving you a job....What more could you want! Freedom! Yes of course! You can go from the factory floor to the cafeteria to your sleeping quarters at least 3 times a day!

Corporations can always make things cheaper, if the country they are in has no problem with 8 yr old kids working in a sweatshop...

I'll hold off buying anything for now...If i ain't buying, they ain't selling and the corporations can't expect to sell to the people they fuck over for 2.00/hr can they..

Good luck I'm just sitting here watching your whole stupid Capitalist scheme fall the fuck apart.

I don't live in a world of conjecture ... What is the alternative to capitalism? Socialism?

Corporation should have to pay 10 years wages an benefits to each worker laid off due to their job being moved overseas

Why? I can make up random stuff too : I want $5 every time someone uses "and" in writing ... Just because it is what I want

Just an idea to force corporation to think about social responsibility

Corporations in their purest form are driven by the profit motive,As long as they do not break the law. Some can choose to focus on social responsibility , but that is up to their individual owners/shareholders. As a shareholder in a corporation I want them to operate as efficiently as possible. I do not want them to get entangled in employee based entitlement schemes that will end up seriously hampering competitiveness. Examples include: US airlines, US auto companies, steel companies ..... Basically heavily unionized companies.
