Has anyone in the movement considered using the Van Jones "Contract For The American Dream" as a workable template to frame the #OWS message? What we are asking for as working class Americans is all right there in the contract.

Our President is not mentioned in any of these posts. He accepted millions of contributions from Wall street, has hired dozens of Wall street Goldman Sach's boys to his cabinet and Czararium. He's "friends' with Van Jones, how does all that Capitalist cronyism work with Communism? If you dont know your enemy how can you expect to beat them?

@1LtG I respect your thoughts, but I do not agree with you. Obama wanted to give Van a position based on the community activism that he did in Oakland where he was heavily involved in the Greening of the Hood. BUT the Republicans freaked out and would not allow Van in the White house. So Obama caved in. Also please read my post entitled "Rival Football Teams" so I can get your feedback on the need to Polarize Socialism and Capitalism instead of creating a THIRD system based on best practices?

Please refer to the post entitled "Rival Football Teams".

While on not at OccupyWallStreet, I've been bringing people's attention to it for the past 2 weeks. I also participated in the organizing meeting for OccupyPhilly yesterday. If a message and "demands" are to be created, then I think the Contract For The American Dream is a good place to start. Here's the link to the 10 Critical Steps that the Contract covers http://contract.rebuildthedream.com/?rc=rtd_home

@ Sheppard..thanks for the feedback. I think the Contract is a pretty good start. The problem with the liberal message has been that it is not cohesive or framed in any universal layman's terms. There are too many organizations all wanting donations. Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. Many of these Liberal non-profits and Pacs will be meeting in a big conference in DC this weekend. I think it is the Democracy Now convention. It will be interesting how their dialogue will be influenced by the recent occupation. I hope they all get their act together and realize WE NEED ONE MESSAGE ONE VOICE! That is what I love about #OWS. Finally you beautiful people got up and are MAKING the voice instead of waiting for it. My daughter and I are coming down Thursday to OWS NYC! I've been protesting for years, but this is the one I have been waiting and praying for. Peace
