Forum Post: Congress Focusing On Real Issues

You will all be delighted to know that the House spent this evening passing a resolution saying that "In God We Trust" is still the national motto.

Mottoes are important, and if they don't keep voting on it every now and then, the national motto might spontaneously become "Yo Mama So Fat", which would be embarrassing and would make the other countries laugh at us.

I'm just saddened that not one of our representatives is prepared to introduce a bill saying that the Stars and Stripes is still the national flag. Without this much-needed legislation we might wake up one day and find that it depicts a flock of small ducks attacking an artichoke.
