I just read the reports and I want to congratulate you on managing to keep the protests on target and nonviolent. I want to especially congratulate you on dealing with the rioters and troublemakers before things got out of hand; I wasn't sure you'd be able to do it but thanks for proving me wrong!

They set a good example. Despite the violence previously, they kept their cool, got the media on their side and got the police to step back a bit to let them be heard. Ghandi did that after a massacre in India by the British. It works.
