I would love to see OWS and Occupy movements from around the world post - speaking out against violence here in the USA - AND also the violence all around the World. I would like to see a call for united fellowship among all peoples. And a denouncement of all warring governments and groups. And this I hope would be the message conveyed everywhere.

I would speak to all of the horrendous violence - school shootings/deaths, The Aurora mass murders, police shooting and killing unarmed citizens governments slaughtering their own civilian populations the recent attack on the Sikh community, the violence and death in the Middle East in Africa, in South America - EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are living in a sick world - a world which is breeding divisions between differing peoples - a world which is breeding death and destruction.

All peoples everywhere must unite in support of one another and strive for peace health and prosperity for ALL.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, but violence cannot be stopped by simple fiat. People, especially those who espouse violence as an acceptable methodology, must first change themselves and the culture, which has mushroomed, from their acceptance of violence.

Americans love violence; it's a torrid affair. They idolize it on tv, on the stage, in movies, and even in real life. Nothing quite as exhilarating as watching one cretin beat another half to death.

Modern day replacement for Gladiatorial sport I suppose - um we could really do without it. And it is not just Americans. World cup socker seems a pretty tame spectator sport - Hey?

OWS is a movement here in the USA. The attack on the Sikh community echoes among all vulnerable minority populations. Expressing solidarity specifically in this instance seems to me to be called for.

Ummm for some reason you are awfully fixated on this. I think what I posted speaks "to" and "for" everyone. IMO.

What can I say, the world is filled with socially connected Dr Horribles, socially disconnected drug dealers, and violent Muslim fundamentalists.
