To transform campaign finance rules into a fair and an equitable engine of democracy,

No corporation shall be allowed to make financial donations to any campaign for an election to a publicly held office. No exceptions

No individual donor can give more than the average hourly wage to a given campaign. No exceptions

These two rules will eliminate the corrupting influence wielded by well funded lobbyists, corporations, interest groups and super-rich individuals or families AND

Will level the playing field both for the candidates and the voters. Candidates will respond to and promote the popular will, and not the interests of the powerful corporate elite

Remember all the reckless bailouts during the financial crisis would not have been contemplated without the symbiotic and corrosive relationship that exists between the powerful superdonors and our representatives in government

Candidates running for an office, including the presidency, do not need tens or hundreds of millions of dollars to get their message across. Public forums open to all will be more than enough to debate ideas and agendas, without resorting to expensive negative advertising, where most of the donated money is squandered.

So CALL for a Complete Campaign Finance Overhaul as one of the primary focus goals of the movement and pressure Congress to act without delay. No conditions attached

I totally agree with this type of solution. It has proven to be a major problem where corporate concerns and worries out weigh the citizens of this country.
