I ask that occupy Wall Street takes a day to commemorate the passing of Steve Jobs.
In my eyes, Steve Jobs was a revolutionary man who changed the world for the better. He created wealth for the nation and I think he represents what ultimately the Occupy WalStreet movement is about. We are a group comprised of people from all walks of life but what molds us together is our desire to make this country better.
A 99%er is not a communist as those who wish to taint our name would like others to believe. We believe that if a person is able to create the lightbulb, or pick fruit, or work as a construction worker, you know, a person that creates wealth for the nation deserves to reap the benefits of this grand plan that is our democracy.
I say we commemorate Steve Jobs, pick a day, and shut the mouth of all those who would paint us as communist, capitalist hating, hippies.
Really? Even though he outsourced hundreds of thousands of jobs and made billions in profits?
