Forum Post: "Come Now You Rich Men"

Jesus once said, "Of whom do you think those in high places take from, of their own, or of strangers"? We the strangers are outside of the kings court, were always willing to continue receiving the crumbs which fall from the tables of those in high places, and it was sufficient. But now they seek to either take away even the crumbs from us, or else charge us for the crumbs. Isn´t it enough that they have filled their plates even more full than before? How much is enough? and now they even want the crumbs that fell from their tables returned. Since they have this world´s abundance, and know many are in need, yet they shut up their compassion from them; how at all could the love of God dwell in them? But if they had known what this meant, they would not have condemned the guiltless. There is no philosophy to it, it rather comes down to plain truth; Is it right to do good or to do evil? to save life or to destroy it?
