Why can't we arrest and replace all CEO's, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Broker's and Trader's, Money Manager's, Loan Officer's, Accountants, Bankers etc. In my opinion, even if they hadn't broken the law and brought down the worlds economy, literally ruining peoples lives and the future of our youth and our country. Leaving hard working parents without food and shelter for their family's. EVEN IF THE RESULTS OF THEIR ACTIONS, HADN'T ENDED SO BADLY...Everyone involved should at least be fired for just being STUPID!!!
Are many of you suggesting ,that with our current unemployment rate, we can't find brilliant, trustworthy, reliable, dependable, accurate, responsible, steady, steadfast, loyal, faithful, honorable, honest, ethical, principled, moral, incorruptible people to replace them.
Those convicted should be heavily fined and taxed t.
In my very humble opinion...I believe that if this were to happen, it could begin the healing process of our economy. It will give THE PEOPLE confidence in our Government, our Justice System, even Wall Street. To keep backing down to the wealthy, makes our leaders look weak ,scared ,and powerless.
Hear Hear - givem the Madoff Makeover.
End the culture of white collar crime.
Perfect
It would be justice as well as a real promise of penalty for others to avoid if they should feel the need to be criminal.
Good point. The worst possible example is being set.
Beth made a good point about there being really good people out there to do the work. However, they are not "connected".
That's the problem - many good people are overlooked - passed by - not considered - BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE - How sad is that?
Right, because they would not steal.
Raised with and believing in ethics.
Regarding many of the big bankers, if they can steal, they will steal. It is an addiction. Like a cocaine addiction. They just can not stop.
People with an addiction put in charge of the pharmacy. Does not make a lot of sense. Too bad they can't overdose without taking the rest of us along with em.
Good points.
Good Post
I second that!
