Our two-party system has some fundamental flaws. Most of the politicians put their party's benefit first and our country's second. And with our current system, if they only put the country's benefit first, they may never have a chance to get elected. So how can we fix this? Please throw in your ideas. Following are some of my own.
- Politicians are good with dealing with politics. But why are they dealing with other issues like education, law, science, economics, etc? Can we have a general governing board that has a separate chair for each separate trade? And can we only vote on the experts (at least number years of experience or certain level of education in the field) to be on the board? This way the political drama will stay away from solving critical issues.
- Set up a central organization to handle the entire election fund for all candidates. Keep the Wall Street away.
Please share this so we can get all the bright minds together!
