Labeling some OWS supporters as "trolls" and disabling the post, edit, or delete buttons under their accounts is either super-idiotic or being done by a plant of sabotagers of OWS. It is a form of intellectual corruption. Is it not totally hypocritical to engage in some of the same practices that are attributed to the establishment and against which the OWS claims to be struggling? And doing that to its own supporters, who may have somewhat deeper perspectives than the widespread shallow and superfluous hubbub! It is extremely self-defeating and self-destructive. The OWS does not even have any political power yet and they have started doing this! If such people gain political power, how can they be expected to bring any positive changes? Why are such people being allowed in such positions at the Forum? I hope it is some exception. Otherwise, the OWS has no future.
What is a troll?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_(Internet)
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4] The noun troll may refer to the provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted".
You dont know what a troll is do you?
Robespierre met Madame Guillotine as soon as his power waned. Expect the same from all demagogues in the midst of revolution.
All is normal and expected.
On this forum it is posters who keep posting garbage, promote violence, or demonize based on race. Those who disagree and have a different perspective are free to engage in reasoned discussion.
