I'm just an ordinary dude. Been working for 25 years, savings my dimes. Had a few outstanding investments. Worked my way up from living in unheated rooms and minimum wage, to where me and my wife make $300,000 combined.
We have a net liquid asset worth of about $2,000,000, which we grew from a negative net worth after college.
Up $20,000 today.
Living the American Dream -- Wall Street is definitely part of it.
OWS stinks like shit, death, and Peoples Republics of old and recent vintages, with their Gulags, Killing Fields, and Class Warfare.
CELEBRATE WALL STREET!
Republican eh? Sorry to hear that, you gained because you are in America. We need to maintain our country. Not just give to shills.
Up till your second to last paragraph, I was with you 100%. I can't endorse the more radical socialist, Robin Hoodesque elements of the OWS movement, but some of the "leaders," if they'd just step up and lead, seem to have some salient points. They're vague about specific goals, but they have addressed campaign finance reform as a way to disentangle big business and government, health care reform and individual accountability for investment banks and companies that received federal "bail out" funds.
Money is a way of expressing free speech. We should all be able to put our money where our mouth is.
Keep up the good work. These jealous loser can't get past their envy of you. Instead of working, they've dropped out.
