Again and again, I seem to have the same discussion on these boards and on facebook. Why are people so confused?

We live in America. Our elected Democratic Republic has been stolen away from the People by a Feudalistic Capitalist society. In order to return our Government to the principles that it was founded on We the People need to remove the control of our Government from the 1% of people that control the Economy. Systematically the past half century has brought to rise a Central Bank and Credit System that our founding fathers and several notable Presidents throughout history warned us against.

Thomas Jefferson wrote, "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

Today, We are waking up to realize that the Banks in control of our Government is as big a problem as the Church being in control. (Any Church or Religion, I don't discriminate here.) There needs to be a clear separation between Market and State to protect the State from the influence of the few at the detriment of the masses.

I believe in Capitalism! I think it is a fine system for our economy. It promotes growth and innovation. However, it is a horrid form of Government as it only rewards those that already have power and takes it from those that do not. We need to return our Government to the hands of the People. We are the 99%...

Agreed! However it is not just the banks. It is all big money, corporations and special interests of all kinds that have co-opted control of our government with their money.

The problem is the political process. 1% buys their representation, 99% are left with the scraps.

What we need is a Separation of Money and State. Take all of the money out of the political process and establish publicly funded campaigns and elections. Won't that drive the 1% mad?!

The Corporations are just pawns to the Banks. If you effect the Banks then you also remove the corporate influence.
