On the living wage thread, posters after posters kept saying that living wager is all fine and good and should be low, but they are greedy for more. These are working class Americans, and the greed that they show for everything that the rich has is astounding. How did we arrive here? It is one thing when 1% of the country is greedy, but it is quite another when 99% of the country is whining about how they can't get everything that they are greedy for. This is a problem and I think we need to fix this with mass education. People's expectations need to be moderated. We need to teach people that being greedy is not OK.
