Forum Post: Can the Generosity of Many Save a Home?

What if we as a whole, the 99%, could save our homes without the banks? What if we, as individual members of a larger body, could help each other by giving a little of ourselves? I propose that if each of us were to donate a few dollars, that amount taken as a whole could buy home that are about to be foreclosed. My goal is to see if I can save my grandmother's home this way.
