Is there a way for citizens to band together and push for Republican Congressional members to begin to accept measures of austerity that they wish to prescribe to the general population.
They have stopped governing. Governing involves compromise. They do not even preform at a base level.
There must be a way to cut their pay and benefit packages since they do not preform.
Their health care benefits are way out of line to what is available to the average citizen. It is easy for them to be opposed to the new overarching health care reform, since they never have to worry about not having health care.
It is time they started to understand that their salary and benefits are based on the results of them governing and moving this country forward in a responsible direction.
If there is a way to begin this process this would be a great focal for the Occupy movement. Thank you for continuing the fight for those of us without the financial power or connections.
