More specifically, is it possible for medium to large size businesses to do this?
And how much would the general public support a business that has converted into a not-for-profit organization?
The following website discusses such a conversion on a much grander scale, and it is an interesting read: http://www.thepeacefulrevolution.com/#57
interesting website. Thanks for the link.
I am opposed to any corporation or government recognized group being tax exempt and their accumulated wealth not being taxed fairly.
I'm opposed to the unconstitutional IRS agency as it is basically an offshoot of the Federal Reserve. They collect taxes for the central bank are only made necessary because of the central bank's fractional reserve lending practice and their unconstitutional practice of trading fiat notes (our money) for government bonds (free interest).
The national debt continues to increase because of this.
But as far as gaining the status of not-for-profit there needs to be regulations to prevent abuse by businesses gaining this status.
Do you really believe that is the actual reason why the IRS collects money from Americans?
I believe it's the only reason the IRS is made necessary.
For-profit businesses don't contribute to the community, community members are often too poor to contribute to the community, and 'private' government agencies in general siphon more resources than they contribute to the community.
I have no problem with taxation if these funds were re-allocated to community projects that improve the overall standard of living but most aren't. Most funds are simply funneled into wars, corporate subsidies, bank bailouts, and other greed-centered nonsense.
It collects money/wealth for the fed as part of the many times defaulted upon bankruptcy terms.
More wishful thinking... rainbows and unicorns.. Keep going.
That's more along the lines of smooth political change.

for one what you suggesting is in the realm of business and not politics. For another, I really don't understand how you guys come to think that Youtube videos, all things, are credible sources for theories on economic, politics etc. Do you guys cite Youtube videos in the reference section of your academic reports too ?
ha, watch the video and you'd understand the reference
