I am a 55 year old father of four, Veteran of the US Navy Reserve and US Marine Corps, I was laid off by a hedge fund in December 2008 and haven’t been able to get a job since, I lost my health insurance this past June.
I am here to say that I whole heartedly support the “Occupy Wall Street” movement and would like to make a suggestion for consideration.
A nationwide, 2 hour general strike: A general nationwide strike that starts on the east coast at 12:00pm and rolls westward, by time zone. Participants would meet at the closest city/town center to peacefully demonstrate their support for the “Occupy” movement.
To do this on November 5,2011, a year and a day before the 2012 elections, would give true historical meaning for all Americans to “Remember, Remember the 5th of November”.
the strike have to be a 1 day or 24h strike to be effective !!!!! WHY U AMERICAN ARE LIKE THIS???? 2H strike is a rubbish ! wake up !

were you going to strike if you were still working for the hedge fund?
Honestly I don't know.
But in this reality, this universe, we are where we are and doing what we are doing.
What ifs just don't matter.
