Would it be possible to select 5 out of the 50 states and be allowed to purchase them? I want 5 and you can have 45. Here is what I want to do. I want to purchase the 5 states and start a new country. We want to be able to install electric fences around the states. He will close all highways going into or out of the states. We would establish a government based on conservative republican values, no liberal agendas allowed. English is the only language. Christianity is our official religion and we will pray to God. We will create our own commerce, education and elderly support policy. We control our own states and you will be allowed to sink your 45 states as predicted. How about that?
Its already been done to 50 states--
What will you do with gay children?
We will pray for them. You seem to think republicans hate gays. We believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. You can love a person of the same sex but you cant get married. Gay children would be allowed. That was a stupid question.

Or how about offering Canada and Mexico to split us 50/50?
Nope.
I mean "if all hell broke loose" and the country imploded... It's not absurd imo to think that States like Massachussets or Vermont would think of joining Canada.
And with its large Cuban diaspora, Miami might consider joining Cuba... :o)
I could care less how the other 45 states end up. Hell contains a lot of people.
