Forum Post: Building a Monument in OWSNYC

I would like to start a discussion about creating, designing and building an Onsite," OWS Monument". I propose a structure that would provide shelter and heat for those that Occupying Wall St. This "Monument" could be a, " positive response", to the City's ordinance denying the occupiers Energy to keep warm this winter. The Monument could and should be totally free from using Fossil Fuels as a heat source. There are some dynamic technologies out there I believe would work well. Solar, Wind, Hydrogen, Magma steam? First step is to "Own the Property". My understanding is the Park is privately owned. It can be bought. Permits can be obtained. Let us get the World to help us build the first OWS Monument! Imagine Creativity. Imagine what this Monument would represent.
