i was interviewed briefly earlier today by someone claiming to be from "BNN," when i asked what that stood for he said "british news network." i hadnt heard of it but the microphone cube looked pretty shoddily made so i figured it was just some really low budget outfit. i had also been up for 30+ hours at that point and my usual guards weren't all the way up. anyways - nothing too drastic happened in the interview he just asked me "what are you hoping to see here," the usual stuff.
he then asked me to text him my email address, which i did against my better judgement. i looked up BNN when i got home and found (surprise) that it doesnt exist. the # that he gave me points to glamwire.com, an extremely low-budget fashion/entertainment website, AND says the person has registered an undeveloped "wikileaksshop.net."
dont think hes gonna find anything juicy from my texts or email and i'm not worried about the interview, and the guy was really friendly. more just confused about who this bogus journalist is and why he wanted my number. has anyone else dealt with this person and can shed any light on who he is or similar BNN experiences?
