take your money out and loans and put them in a small bank with the same protections as the big boys--close checking accounts etc.etc.
you do realize the stock market crashed last time people rushed the banks. They called it the Great Depression
Actually CapitalismRulesPeriod, the market crash occurred first, which triggered a run on the banks. Both contributed to the Great Depression. That said, this would be moving funds from one organization to another. It would not be a "run on all banks", just the big ones. It would be a boon for the small ones. If we 'diversify' by moving our money out of the concentrated large banks into the smaller banks and credit unions, we will effectively not only make a statement against the large banks, but we will boost the credit unions and small banks, and lower the affect on us if a "too big to fail" bank fails because they were too greedy or evil or dumb.
I agree, I use a local credit union.
But to others .....If you do that...you might hurt Warren Buffet, he recently bought part of BoA, oh and don't forget his stake in Wells Fargo.
