We need to organize a nationwide retail employee walkout on the day after Thanksgiving. That's is biggest shopping day of the year and would shed a lot of light on most of major retail's anti-union practices. This also gives us over a month and a half to get the word out.
Even better would be a general strike, supported by all the unions that have shown solidarity with this movement.
I'm all for taking down mindless consumerism. How can I help?
How is harming the economy going to create jobs?
love this idea
Yea and the still-suffering indulge in an ugly orgy of consumerism on that day.
Remember the guy who got stomped to death at Walmart a couple years ago?
