Moyers and Company is probably the best weekly TV news show on air today to inform people what is going wrong or right with our government in America. He was encouraged by the Occupy Movement to return to the airwaves to help Americans awakened by Occupy understand what's going on. And, as he always does, he's doing a wonderful job.

Reed, at Citibank is talking about how the Merger between Citicorp and Travelers private investment bank was managed between Bill Clinton, Alan Greenspan, Senator Phil Gram in Texas, and Robert Rubin, US Treasury, others and .... he makes a mistake saying lobbyist teach Congress the way Phamacies teach Doctors (we now know that Phamacies tell a bunch of crap to us all while they try to promote their drugs!!!).
SCANDAL: Robert Rubin of Course used the Swinging Doors between the US Treasury and Private Banking by Joining Citicorp as an Executive.
SCANDAL: Deregulation of Banking Cause the loss of $14 Trillion to US Households, and $34.4 Trillion in Stock Wealth for all Businesses.

about 20 minutes into the video ....John Reed mentions "Low Documentation Loans" that the press knew about.
Why doesnt someone with deep pockets sue the media for not publishing this as Risk? If the press is part of a US Anti-Trust Conspiracy......damn they need to be named on the law suit as conspirators along with their owners/bosses.

Some of the world's economic problems are a symptom of bureaucracy.
The idea that cheap labor is at the heart of unemployment is bypassing the other costs of doing business.
The ancient open markets, the style still common in "undeveloped" countries, spreads well being to producers and consumers. The wall street market is the opposite and the corporation model must fight inefficiencies in spending. The culprit of higher wages for the manufacturing and distribution of products, is only the low hanging fruit.
The executives fully understand that all jobs and office expenses affect the bottom line as well and this puts all of those jobs at risk. The bureaucracy often causes the company to be sold, scrapped and bankrupted. The high cost of labor is often used as a quick answer to failure, since the executives are responsible for the bureaucracies' inefficient implementation.
The Chinese model reminds me of slavery, or of the early industrial age when farm families were converted into factory workers and whole towns were company owned, in order to cut bureaucracy costs and increase productivity.
Our problem, to few decent human beings like Dorgan in Washington. This video really crystallizes why we're here.

Stop Thinking In Black and White. There is at least one other "Theory on Management" Look up Theory Y Management. Some of us are immigrants. Some of use are computer users. Some of us are better educated. Some of us have natural skill or abilities from our parents or school.
SCANDAL: Globalization leads to more Theory X Managment of Labor. Globalization leads to an increase in more bureaucratic positions/jobs which has less responsibility, less job satisfaction. Under Globalization we need more factory workers to do rote tasks for less money. The higher paying government or business jobs are located far away from the factory (like in the USA in conglomorates).
This is just like hardline, right wing jobs. You like your job because you are around like minded guys with the same kind of values. You like working. People like working becuase it is Social. People are social. People want to learn, grow, feel responsibility, be accepted by their peers, be accepted by their management, ...People like feeing good though accomplishmnets or through work or through acceptance.
Military Love:
Military Families are the best in the work most of the time. Military families will allow their kids to make mistakes as long as they don't take drugs and get pregnant before they are ready. Many people dont' know that. But YOU RIGHT WING TROLLS should know that. Kids want to work and grow. And you love them, so you let them make mistakes and find the career that is right for them.

We got the Bill of Rights after the US Constituion, but the guy next to me in the office and foxhole is black and he never got he right to vote till the 1960s. Clearly the people with brown skin, yellow skin, or whatever have been kept out of the higher levels of business. When you can't even vote, and 50-85% of the black men are given a criminal record for non-violent crime, the effect is people with the name headlesscross will keep them from getting food stamps, keep them from getting apartments, keep them from jobs, and force them to commit crimes.

Nixon also helped start the environmental movement in this country, even the EPA. Back then (and I'm actually old enough to remember!) cleaning up our air and water and land wasn't considered a "liberal" issue, it was considered common sense and the right thing to do and it was supported by almost EVERYBODY regardless of political affiliation.

I have to take Nordic's side. We have struggled for freedom, but it was only in 1960s that we allow black people to vote. It was only through US Citizens Unions that corporations were forced to start safety programs. those safety programs are integral into the US Military these day. And really except for the time to brief safety to higher headquarters... everyone knows that safety is very important and helps each executive in the chain of command.
SCANDAL: Civil Rights were realized only in 1960s when blacks were allowed to vote on the USA. Women on the other hand gained the right to vote and acheived civil rights when FDR was President. (wow, 50 years of Civil Rights Light)

None of the media talks about the human cost of war (20 years now in Iraq killing civilians, destroying the infrastructure, destroying the economy), how would you like it if your economy was destroyed by war? 1) Conservative politicians fund unjust wars that will end up costing $4 Trillion
2) Conservative politicians dont' even pass Annual Budgets for the US Federal Government.
3) The SWINGING DOOR between government jobs and private jobs after they pass favorable rulings is so vast, so wide, that we can't imagine it unless we picture the ocean.
4) The Federal government has solutions to many of these problems in corruption (pre 1980s), but the corruptors knew it would take years to clear the air, get the media to report, and to start talk of changes. The process ensures there will be NO Prosecutions since we all let it go for 10-15 years already.
Let me guess, you have had less than 130 college credits, because you only wanted to graduate like I did. But why didn't you learn some more. My father inspired me to learn. He was the first in our family to get a college degree. He did it by working through college and had some help though a Marine Corps reserve program.
