Forum Post: Better Targets?

I have considerable sympathy for the nebulous goals of Occupy Wall Street, and no little indignation over the greatest income disparity in 80 years and the federally subsidized casino that is Wall Street, but one thing about the Oakland edition of O.W. disturbs me. Why maintain the so huge a budgetary drain on a relatively progressive city perennially just barely scraping by? Why not move the camp a two or three miles east to Piedmont, where a few of the 1%, if not the 0.1% surely live?
