We need better government—not necessarily smaller or bigger government. How does a country that has swelled from 3 million people to 300 million people in 235 years expect that the government would not have to grow to protect them? Nine Supreme Court Justices of which only five have to concur to change the fate of the nation of three hundred million people…and we think the system might be corrupt; there is about a five in three hundred million chance it is not corrupt. The Bill of Rights is the foundation for the country. Everything else should be subject to change with the times.
That's what the constitutional amendment process is for, any changes for the good of the citizens of the United States must undergo scrutiny from all to ensure that we are willing to bind ourselves long-term to those changes.
