As the title states. The people, we the people shall take charge of our nation. The officers employed by us who act against us in an unlawful manner we should arrest. We shall hold fair trials in our own courts, help us designate a spot.
Arm yourself with handcuffs, because that is all needed.
When a police officer has committed a crime and has been arrested by the people, treat him with humane respect.
Be an example of what we want. Hold true to our idea of freedom.

WHOA. That's a bit much don't you think? Your reasoning has SOME merit, but isn't all that sound. How are you going to make such a thing happen without SEVERE consequences?

If only we had the nerves to do this.maybe at some point? If they decide to raid the camp we will announce before hand that any police that stay will be subject to citzens arrest and the charges that follow for refusing. If the good police wont arrest them. We will.

I want Occupy Wall Street to give me back the money I, and other taxpayers, have spent on this dumb protest. To the tune of $2 million in police overtime ALONE thus far....
The cops don't have to be here. Besides the police got a nice 6.4million donation by the elites. J.P morgan i believe. I am all for protesting the government. I just want this movement to protest the right people. The government has got to get their nose out of the economy. The more they get involved, the worse it gets. Their regulations have pushed small business owners out of business and have caused the gap in wealth distribution.
The current administration HAS to change. We don't need hope, we need someone who WILL make a change.

Idealistically, you are correct. Functionally not. This, "The people, we the people shall take charge of our nation." is done with majority democratic action in control of the republic through its constitution.
There, "Peace Officer" can be created. We already know they discriminatorily enforce laws with out official descretion when it comes to classes and races, not all but many.
If you stand for the constitution, and are supporting and defending it against treason, and they interfere, what is that called? Wall street was treasonously empowered to rip off America and YOU are the ones working to enforce laws under the Constitution.

While the idea is noble, i dont think it will work. In theory you can make a citizens arrest but in practice it is impossible to do so. About the best you can do is report it. You try to arrest a cop that is in one of these protest and you are more likely to get beat down.
Good luck with that. With the costs that this movement is generating, police are just going to get more and more fed up with you people. If I were Bloomberg, I would have thrown you all out by now because you are costing me too much money. Unfortunately I'm not, so I can't do a damn thing about it other than try my best to piss in your cheerios.

But when somebody come up with an idea like "arrest the police officers" who does not provide you with the order that you wish...I have to assume that one is ether tired,...or...otherwise. I choose the polite way, cause I did not want to be arrested by your guys...
