  1. Get the lobbyists out of DC for good and return the power to the people.

  2. Require that everyone running for office do so on government funding. Maybe for once people can get elected based on their own principles and not because they are well funded by the big guys. This would put everyone on equal terms.

  3. Put every politician on a 2-Term maximum limit. That way we can get some turn-over and end gridlock.

Agreed, but that's not nearly enough, so perhaps you would consider our group's proposal of an alternative online direct democracy of government and business at http://getsatisfaction.com/americanselect/topics/on_strategically_weighted_policies_organizational_operating_structures_tactical_investment_procedures-448eo , for this is a small-business-bottom-up approach, not today's big-business-top-down approach, so if agreed, join our group's 20 members committed to that plan at http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/StrategicInternationalSystems/

Catchy, concise slogans:

Money out of politics!

Get the money out!

Exactly my point. Just hope the American people have the courage to change the system.

That's what we're here to do. We need to encourage them. As the movement grown, they can't ignore it. And as long as our demands are reasonable, and make sense people will listen.

True. That's the amazing thing about this protest (or should we be saying, movement at this point)? Now, if only they could focus. Then the media couldn't claim they don't have any specific goals.

Exactly, somebody needs to step up and lead so we don't make the impression that we're just sitting there complaining about the system.

If you're at the park, get started. If not, maybe someone there can make a sign and shout it out.

I am in the heartland, too far away to be effective.....but if this is going to work, we need to organize!

Sorry to take so long to reply. Had to check out our local protest. Maybe you can contact friends in a city that is protesting and encourage them to participate? Or just make a donation to the cause.

Donating is the least I can do!!
