Forum Post: Barbara Bush Endorses Who? What? O - I Get It . . .

Posted 11 years ago on Aug. 16, 2013, 1:12 a.m. EST by ZenDogTroll (13032) from South Burlington, VT
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

That would be Shrub's little girl, all grown up, and Yes She does endorse Hillary.

Now before you think it must be some millenial thing, or that the HuffPost has an agenda, consider this:

  1. All the media are finding interest in this story

  2. Including Faux Snooz

So what the fuk?

Of course you are temped to insist that this is a demonstration that the two political parties are no more than twins. And if you look at the author of the Faux Snooz article, you might note the following:

  • Dick Morris served as Bill Clinton's political consultant for 20 years, guiding him to a successful reelection in 1996. He is the author of New York Times bestsellers Because He Could, Rewriting History (both with Eileen McGann), Off with Their Heads, and Behind the Oval Office, and the Washington Post bestseller Power Plays.

  • Copyright Eileen McGann and Dick Morris 2006

That's right - President George Bush Supports Hillary Clinton? By Dick Morris Published November 21, 2007 FOX Fan

Now before you go slapping yourselves on the back with mild assurances that ZenDog just demonstrated how completely wrong he has been over the last however long, consider this:

The National Journal indicates the repelican party may be divided into five different factions - apparently they are having server issues at the moment, but perhaps we can view the fifth faction a bit later.

The other four are, I presume, as follows:

  1. Moderates - which hardly exist anymore since Jeffords Jump and Olympia Snowe of Maine retired.

  2. Religious Extremists - who lost two representatives over the statement: "In a legitimate rape situation" - most of you remember it I am sure and if not, please do feel free to google - Akin, Mourdock, Repelican Limericks XXXVIII.

  3. Tea Party repelicans - who seem to share some good deal of overlap with the religious extremists but make no mistake, the new breed of religious extremist is not the old breed of religious extremist and no more as pious.

  4. The country club set.

It is this last that should most closely concern us. The moderates generally have been pushed out by that lack of willingness to compromise. The religious zealots have been manipulated for years.

And this latest tidbit that has the news feeds aflurry comes to us from the country club set. Ultra rich, right wing, conservative. They depend upon the perception that these two parties are one - when in reality the repelican party itself is not one - it is many, acting as one.

They depend on the maintenance of that perception. They depend on the millennials not voting. So here we have one, reaching across the aisle, demonstrating the myth to her peers.

No doubt, the avid consumer of OWS Dogma will eat this up with hardly a pause for breath, and when it is gone will look round begging for more.

Ah the push for another war loving, bank loving criminal has begun. MSNBC has been all over her of late, getting everyone off the topics and into fantasy land.

Just remember, the people you support shut us down. Labeled us as terrorists. And again, most importantly, SHUT US DOWN.

Instead of calling OWS fools all the time, perhaps you should ask yourself exactly WHO is it YOU are supporting?

I know trends-forcaster Gerald Celente is a little crazy but like he says- the Bush/Clinton clans are mafia families. That's not because of their methods, that's how their supporters operate. Obama picked a fight with one of them successfully, and won but his politics happen to be but a bit right of center. The Clinton got over it. They are still the people in charge of the so-called left.

It's forgone conclusion that Hillary will choose the next president.

If not putting out a written detailed statement gets you labeled a terrorist, its even more of a reason not to support them.

"we had the fukers" and thats why they all shut it down.

So few people are going to not vote for Hillary we might actually become famous. I want her to become president. Look! it's that dude that didn't vote for Hillary!!

How/why do they act as one?

True, as an "off shelf" explanation, but not nearly adequate to explain the "lock step" march to environmental destruction and dysfunctional dominance.

It it reasonable to assume there is a lot more to it in the unconscious realm of intent.

Yep, but do they know why. . . Or do they just think they know?

The worst one was this:

TPP will be even worse, and it will pass with bipartisan nonsense because the people simply refuse to move on.

So what if a Bush endorses Hillary? So does Putin. Obama, Putin and Hillary all want a new cold war over gay rights. They'll pull it off too.

Carter dems know whats up with all this. So do republicans. Talk about politics making strange bed-fellows. Geez... I wouldn't be surprized to see the US not show up at the olympics. I say let the athletes go. Don't punish them. Go ahead and do the cold war thing I could care less.

Really. The ruling elite stick together, though I was a bit surprised to have this made public. Then again, she's just Dubya's daughter. She wasn't in Skull and Bones and I doubt she knows the secret handshake. In their world, she's just a woman to be coddled and is oh so cute when she says something like that. Nothing to see here.

Lol. I didn't even watch the vid. I'm going way off topic with my BS too. You're right, nothing to see.

I'm going to enjoy a Hillary presidency a great deal. I'll get to repeat the same thing over and over. "I didn't vote for her".

[-] -2 points by gnomunny (6819) from St Louis, MO 11 years ago

Anyone that would vote for that evil bitch ought to have their head examined. But these fawning clowns will be drooling all over their ballots claiming "NOW this country's going in the right direction."

[-] -1 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 11 years ago

She's not especially evil, she's just an American chick. Look how much fun it will be coming up with excuses why you didn't vote for her,

I forgot to

I was drunk

Someone stole my dog

She's just an American chick. You're funny, Steve.

[-] 1 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 11 years ago

She is. I'm just an American dude. We're not special.

Kidding aside I'd like to see Tammy Baldwin be the next president. We all know that will never happen so why dwell on it.

She's really good at math and she's single. That amounts to having a criminal record in Washington.

[-] 0 points by gnomunny (6819) from St Louis, MO 11 years ago

Hell, I didn't know who Tammy Baldwin was so I had to Google her. Shows you how much I follow politics, eh? At least she's a Dem, so she has that to her credit.

Damn, I feel honored that you created a username directed exclusively at me, T, heheheh. You know me, man, I'm not into politics. Just making idle chit-chat with Stevebol, that's all. I'd never allow myself to be co-opted into ANY existing political faction.

Renneye - This message is for you. I cannot send PMs with a new user. To answer your last PM. Yes, I was bluffing. I don't know. I kind of feel it though by the way you and gnomunny constantly get attacked by them. Another one on the list is Narley. He's real close to extinction.

[-] 4 points by Renneye (3874) 11 years ago

Thanks Thras. I just wanted to get the PM to you. I know you can't answer.

Yes, I can feel it too. There's a chill in the air, isn't there?!

I'm just hanging back to see if someone in admin is going to break out of their trance and make some changes, but I'm not gone for good.

Know any good forum makers? Kidding. Sorta.

Poor Narley.

[-] -3 points by ohmynotyoutoo (-6) 11 years ago

I know I know. You're one of the real ones here. Keep up the good comments. I was just kidding.

[-] 1 points by gnomunny (6819) from St Louis, MO 11 years ago

Yep. And I'm not worried about getting banned. Either the admins would reinstate me with no problem or I'd come back with a new username. I'm sure I'd get reinstated because any ban would be under false pretenses.

Anyway, it's late and I was just about to go. So, until next time. Later.

So you're saying that out of four remaining users, two are moderators?

After all this time, we get some moderation, and it's two of the regulars?

SMH.
