REGISTER AND VOTE. It is the only way to take control of the government to stop corruption. CONGRESS are the ones fed by the corporations, writing laws to prevent taxation on themselves. Stop life-long pensions, make Congress obey the laws, stop glorifying their immoral behaviors. VOTE to force change of regulators. Millions of Americans can out vote the $$.

It was the regulators that approved of this.

I fail to see how adding more people to the group that encourages these kinds of things (at taxpayer expense) is going to stop it.

It's always easier to strip out regulations than it is to reassemble them after the fact; Glass-Steagall would have prevented this and the SEC should have disallowed the transfer right away.

Should but didn't is rather my point. Regulation is shown to not only allow but be responsible for these things and the solution is more of the same? Einstein said that doing the same thing but expecting different results is insanity.
