From 1940-1980 we had zero banks failed. This year 84. Over 400 banks since 2001. What happened? No rules allows theft... regulate!

It was those goddamned New Deal policies propping up all these weak banks. This is healthy; the market self-correcting, survival-of-the-fittest. It's beautiful! Creative destruction man!!

Don't know if I can agree, things have gotten worse with every deregulation put forth. You get to big to fail, big government bail outs now done by the fed, but news and rush limbah with his golden microphone and 400 what was it thousand or million a year to be the tool of big business/rich. That man has never done a show for his audience!

Not just theft. The investment banks have become casinos where you can place bets (called derivatives) on such things as "will America lose it's AAA credit rating?" or "will Greece default?" How is that in the realm of investment banking? The whole system has degraded to the point where they don't take us, money, or banking seriously. Some serious prosecutions might change that.

We are poor because government is in the pockets of the 1% richest people. So help me to do something about it. Let's say to the congress and to the president its time to be accountible to all of your people! If we are the ones to pay the bill insted of dollar bill maquire they won't have to look for 20,000 a day, which will make them accountable to we the people. So If your tired of a congress that is for sell, then sign my petition at the "we the people" section of the whitehouse.gov, here's my link to the petition.. http://wh.gov/blx

Another reason I use a local credit union with a good record, but if they start failing I'll be going somewhere else. Don't trust banks. Never have, don't make them evil, just don't trust them.
