Is anyone familiar with the backdating of the stock option scandal? I was the whistleblower. I had been at the IRS and they ordered me to help executives embezzle money and evade tax. The NY Times article about me was on August 10, 2004. I wanted to make people aware of what was going on. The total amount of the backdating was about $85Billion.
To thank me for this huge adjustment, the IRS fired me and tried to put me in jail and refused to give me my Enrolled Agent Card. But they did eventually give me my Enrolled Agent's card, saying "I left in good standing".
